Bamp, update, finally.
made grass and such biome-compatible, but with the same old texture; more Minecraft-y and not as eye-searing.

EDIT: Still has custom grass.png and foliage.png, which will keep the grass and such as bring green; make sure you have used MCPatcher if you desire the bright grass.

Still a big fan, dude. I've tried changing the looks of the other mobs a bit, but still haven't quite figured out how to make them look very Mario mob looking. =P

A tip, though: I've noticed that with other mobs than yourself, you can actually incomplete the skin texture, and that area will be invisible. So, perhaps 'removing' heads, bodies, or limbs would free up so creativity for Mario-based mobs? I'll do some research since I'm off work today.
