Oh no! Can I still join or is it too late? D:
Cause I have learned to actually NOT make my characters overpowered. Or screw with the plot majorly. Or things like that.
'Sides, it's been ages since I've had a good story to write, besides my Zelda fanfiction and another project I'm working on my kindle fire.
EDIT: Making a character bio here, since it can't go into the other thread, and I might as well stick it here.
Name: Skuther Stardust
Species: Epsilicon
Planet of origin: Treturret, now transformed into an asteroid belt as a result of Grox attack.
Age: Regenerated from the final war against the Zerbe and Grox, during which Treturret was reduced to rubble, his age relative to this life is 640 Earth years, 20 Epsilicon years, reborn at 638 earth years; relative to the universe, he is unaware of his first birth.
Powers (optional): Control over antimatter; strong emotion makes this ability expand rapidly, enough at tolerable maximum to level a portion of a city; however, he nearly faints from this due to the sheer power running through him. Adrenaline also boosts his ability; he is able to go longer and control more, but the aftereffect is equivalent; using everything he has, he is capable of producing a small nova like a 2x Mega Bomb, though the aftereffect would be devastating. As he ages, his ability increases; it is about 2% increase, exponentially, every 5 Earth years. (100%, 102%, 102% of 102%, etc)
Radiates antimatter ever so slightly; necessary for him to live, as well as effectively channel antimatter; it takes far more effort for him to channel if he does not have this radiation. Absolute master machinist; understands machinery instinctively.
Resistances (optional): partial immunity to heat and magnetism, due to extreme body density; resists physical attack pretty well; immunity to antimatter-based weapons. Difficult to read, whether in combat or in attempts to extract information, but it can be done with effort.
Weakness (optional): Cold, radiation-absorbing weaponry, most spice due to odd system of digestion, emotional weaponry, some poisons. Specific kinds of subatomic weapons are also a no-no, like electron cannons. Electricity is also painful.
Bio (Cause I felt like I need to come up with explanation!): Skuther is an extremely old entity in the universe, destined to die and be reborn through regeneration, like a pheonix without the growing phase. During his personal vendetta against the Grox, he accidentally attracted their attention and as a result, the Grox blasted Treturret to smithereens. He was hit by a lead sabot shell as he slept, effectively killing that body through the embedded shrapnel. He was reborn with no knowledge of the past except for vague memories of his comrades and his ever-present mechanical instinct. His current form is much like his old one, except for his right eye is now robotic (Think Treasure Planet

). He made a small name for himself designing blueprints, but grew restless and departed for the stars.
Skuther is the last of his race, and as such is rather careless with his own life. Emotional loss has strained his sanity; he is oddly calm, and can be witty and fun, but if one brings up anything on relationships or things like that, he becomes, essentially, a very, very dangerous death trap, ready to snap at the slightest provocation. This has also caused his mind to be chaotically ordered; to others, it is simply a cloud of jumbled thoughts and memories, but he understands his own thoughts very well.
His personality is one of peace; his mind has seen enough war to suit him. He is not warlike or violent, unless provoked in the correct manner. He does not have any killing instincts normally, but can be a formidable enemy. He is slightly erratic, and is actually quite likable usually. Very smart when confronted with a problem, though he goes about it erratically, sometimes confusing others.
EDIT: found where I should put this, in the "who's interested" thread. Should I move it?
EDIT2: I tried to do some major balancing; more weaknesses, not so OP channeling of power (his usual use of it is like lobbing a grenade at 3x the regular size, or a beam of energy capable of cutting through dense metal when focused; massive explosions are relatively rare nowadays.) I also tried to make him more vulnerable to certain situations.
