Yeah, this sure is experimental.

By the way, there is nothing wring with the "kink" in Kryrrys' tail where it forms the heart shape. It has soft cartilage for vertebrae, which can be disconnected and relocated, so the tail can bend in almost any position. A network of nerves close to the skin replace the central spinal cord that would run down the vertebrae so he does not damage it when he bends his tail in ridiculous poses like this. This is true for all members of his species. Due to the nature of the nervous system in the tail, it is a very sensitive body part on an Exodrake, second only to the true tongue. The tail can feel vibrations coming from miles away. But yeah, that's enough useless species facts Tongue

I like the simplistic shading this time around, but why does she have a snout?

A snout? XD

It's just a type of anime style. I see it a lot in manga like Shaman King.

Come on, 3D. If you're going to ban evade, can you at LEAST try to behave differently?

I think you should use cel shading from now on, Amber. The shading on your other artwork looked too blotchy.

I probably will. Soft shading is difficult to control. With cel shading, I can use the linework layer to make the edges clean.

I must say, cel shading definitely does suit your artwork a lot. You should use it more!
And once again, this is a great piece of artwork Smiley

The cel shading does seem to be a positive design choice. I'll probably stick with it for most of my work from now on Grin

Perhaps you could work on fingers next? A lot of your drawings seem to have cardboard limb syndrome.

Yeah, fingers are a real synonym-of-female-dog to draw. I'll always need practice to improve on them.
